Betty Hines passed away on February 14, 2011. She was a true Patriot. Every time I sat down to talk with her I learned something new. She was a walking history lesson. She was at the forefront of the battle for conservatism long before many of us ever thought about it or knew about it. She will be missed as a Patriot, as Conservative leader, and more importantly she will be missed as a friend. A memorial for Betty Hines will take place at 2pm Monday February 21 in Texarkana, Texas at the Hands On Texarkana building located at 1915 Olive Street.
